The beverage corner in the lounge is self-service and open to the hotel guests. Enjoy a cup of coffee from Obuse's Malte Coffee Roasting Factory or a sparkling drink made from the mineral-rich fresh water of Mount Iwasuge. Please relax while looking at the photos and paintings displayed in the museum.
Lounge
The space behind the front desk is Chalet Shiga's lounge and co-working space for photographers. Guests are free to use the space, including sofa seating, and it is equipped with Wi-Fi and power supply, so you can use it as a workspace during your stay.
Photographers' Space

This is a small co-working space that can be rented out. The space is equipped with a computer and printer for working with photographic images, making it easy to work. There is also a free kitchen for long-term residents. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, and tableware are at your disposal.

HEAD Sports Station CHALET SHIGA
High performance skis, snowboards and boots from HEAD are available for rent. Wear by "SPYDER" and "DESCENTE" for kids, helmets, gloves, goggles, and other accessories are also available. Skis, boots, clothing, helmets, gloves, sunglasses, etc. are sold in the back of the store. The latest waxing machine "WAX FUTURE" has been installed, and you can experience the most advanced waxing adopted by the World Cup at a special price.

WAX fee
| WAX FUTURE is a machine that irradiates the sliding surface with infrared rays at a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius or less, heating it from within the board and allowing the wax to penetrate deeper. TEPPA ROOM Shiga Kogen on the first floor is a winter-only directly operated store of Tamamura Honten, which brews "Shiga Kogen Beer" and "Engi" sake. Eight types of factorydraft beer are always available. There is also a full food menu that goes well with the beer. Coffee and desserts are also available.
